Jury Management

AMCAD’s Jury Management System is a robust application that supports the operations, reporting, and other services required for the successful management of jurors. The solution is built upon scalable and open architecture and industry standards such as integration with the National Change of Address (NCOA) for address verification. The application’s user interface is intuitive, thus easy to learn and easy to use and supports the following jury processes:

Juror Source List
  • Juror information import from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) or Voter Registration
  • Automated address verification registry service  with the NCOA
  • History tracking- if a juror on a previous list has been permanently excused or deceased, that juror record can be excluded from further processing.
Juror Management
  • Jury pools management
  • Randomized jurors selection
  • Automated summons generation
  • Fast and easy Check-In using barcode on generated summons
  • Jurors’ status tracking such as ‘checked in’, ‘no show’ or ‘dismissed’
  • Tracking and recording juror excusals (with reason) and rescheduling
  • Term Assignment
  • Jury Assignment
  • Web-based Juror Service Excuse Management
  • Web-based Juror Questionnaires
  • Juror Reassignment Rules

Juror Payments

Content Management

  • Document Imaging

In addition, the system provides all the required components for summons and excusal management, jury pool and sub-pool management, jury service payment, service history, and reports.  Workflow and court user efficiency is supported by use of mass processing components, such as summons generation for a pool of jurors.

jurymanagement
AMCAD’s Jury Management System offers role based user security supported by an array of security rights that cover every facet of the system. For example, one court user may only be able to view a juror’s  service record, whereas another court user would have the ability to update a juror’s record. Courts can maintain application properties, system properties, security settings and other management functions through tables and system parameters. The system’s code tables provide the ability for defining specific data elements to be selected in support of data integrity, forms development, and reports.
