What is eUniversa™?
AMCAD's eUniversa is a tightly integrated end-to-end electronic filing solution encompassing a Filer Interface, a Clerk Review, and integration with varying Case Management and Document Management systems
Filer Interface
The Filer Interface enables the capture, submission, and communication of case data and files in an easy to use, browser-based format.
A tabbed interface easily guides Filers through the process of eFiling, in either a new case or an existing case, with customized data requirements based on the Court and Filing type.
Clerk Review
Clerk Review enables the ability to review, edit, reject, or approve eFilings while supporting Filer communication, automated docketing, and CMS/DMS integration.eUniversa Clerk Review

ECF 4.0
eUniversa is based on Electronic Court Filing version 4.0 as developed by the OASIS LegalXML Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee. ECF Version 4.0 uses National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), a national standard forinformation sharing.
Adherence to these leading standards allows for integration choice and fexibility while providing a scalable platform on the forefront of technological advancements.
eUniversa utilizes the following Major Design Elements as defined by OASIS:
- Filing Assembly: Enables Filer to submit & receive response
- Filing Review: Enables Filer to submit & receive response
- Clerk Review: Enables Court to receive and review a Filing, prepares Filing fo rCMS/DMS, and enables communication with Filer for CMS/DMS, and enables communication with Filer
- Court Record: Enables eRecording and docket entries into the CMS/DMS
Integration Capabilities
Our ability to interface with any number of Case Management and Document Management combinations is essential in being able to deliver courts a truly end-to-end electronic filing solution.
Our interface capabilities allow for validation of case number, the “fetching” of case information and case documents, the automated submission to the CMS for docketing, and much more.
This capability is made possible by implementing and utilizing industry standard ECF 4.0 messages.
